GIVING BACK

Our mission goes beyond compliance.

Who we are goes beyond compliance. Mosaic is privileged to support a wide variety of charities whose unique mission of helping those in need is intrinsic to who we are as a company. We welcome you to explore this side of us, discover the incredible work these non-profit organizations are doing, and encourage you to join us in supporting these life-changing endeavors.

Have an impactful charity that is close to your heart? Let us know. We'd love to hear about it and learn how we can help.

Friedreich's ataxia is an inherited disorder that affects some of the body's nerves. It is caused by a gene defect that is inherited from both parents. Symptoms often begin in late childhood and can include trouble walking, fatigue, changes in sensation, and slowed speech. These tend to get worse over time.

The Friedreich’s Ataxia Research Alliance (FARA) is a national, public, 501(c)(3), non-profit, tax-exempt organization dedicated to the pursuit of scientific research leading to treatments and a cure for Friedreich’s ataxia.

Faith Cafe serves our Tampa neighbors in need with dignity and respect as Jesus serves, offering food and referrals to other organizations. Here are a few ways Faith Cafe serves the homeless and those in need:

  • Monday through Sunday, we offer guests a comfortable, safe environment to come and enjoy a meal

  • Distribute lightly used clothing, blankets, coats, toiletries, and other essential items

  • On-site managed shower services

  • Laundry service is offered monthly

  • Different people have different needs, so we keep current information related to shelters, family resources, health-related resources, and other organizations that support our guests in ways that we cannot.

The Becky Walker Scholarship Foundation was founded in memory of Becky Walker - our mother, wife, sister, daughter, friend, and teacher - who passed away from pancreatic cancer in 2019. She was the science department head at Spoto High School in Riverview, FL, and held a deep passion for her students, in her honor each year, we now hold a fundraiser to raise money for scholarships for students who demonstrate exceptional scholastic performance by helping them remove barriers to prosperity.

Pediatric brain cancer kills more children in the United States than any other form of cancer, yet many standard treatments for some types have not changed in 60 years. We need to do better for our children.

Our goal is to support scientific research and clinical trials aimed specifically at improving the survival rate of pediatric brain cancers. The treatment of many of these tumors is made complex by a number of factors, including the position within the brain, the blood-brain barrier that blocks many drugs from entering the brain from the bloodstream, and the nature of the tumor’s growth. Extreme care must be taken in treatment so as to not damage healthy brain cells, which could affect the cognitive ability of the patient.

The Jimmy Fund, established in Boston in 1948, is comprised of community-based fundraising events and other programs that, solely and directly, benefit Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's lifesaving mission to provide compassionate patient care and groundbreaking cancer research for children and adults. The generosity of millions of people in Boston and around the world has helped the Jimmy Fund save countless lives and reduce the burden of cancer for patients and families worldwide.

One of our dealer clients makes this ride every year. When he made us aware, we were delighted to support him and further the mission for a cure this year, 2023.

The Pan-Mass Challenge is a Massachusetts-based bike-a-thon that raises more money for charity than any other single athletic fundraising event in the country. Always held the first weekend in August, the PMC raises funds for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, a world leader in adult and pediatric cancer treatment and research.

Our mission is simple: To give glory to God and to promote human dignity. Through the tireless efforts of our staff, volunteers, and corporate partners, we feed, clothe, house, and provide fellowship to those in need in our community and around the world. Giving hope provided over 320,000 hot meals in 2022.

Mosaic has sponsored the building of seven wells in the Buheesi Village in the Rwenzori Valley in Uganda. Founded in 2016, the Well Spring of Blessings Organization is seeking to improve the livelihood of disadvantaged members and increase their effectiveness in serving others. Working with the leaders of these communities, the organization helps them identify areas of need and propose specific short-term projects that would meet these needs. Special emphasis will be on a project that has a clear benefit to these communities or enables them to be a blessing to others.
