Lesson Description
Sixty-Five percent of Americans polled do not consider car dealers to be ethical. Ethics in dealing with businesses are important to U.S. consumers, especially on big-ticket items like cars. The belief that car people don’t act in an honest and ethical manner in every situation repels consumers. People generally don’t believe the retail automobile industry attracts, employs, and rewards ethical folks. This lesson will help employees gain an understanding of why it is important to always engage in ethical behavior in their dealings with customers.
