FTC Telemarketing Rule

The Federal Trade Commission gives consumers a choice about whether they want to receive most telemarketing calls. Consumers can put their phone numbers on the national "do not call" registry provided by the FTC. It is illegal for most telemarketers or sellers to call a number listed on the registry. It is important for you and others at your dealership to know when it is appropriate to call clients.
